Don't take life too seriously now, will you? Here's about me well, a part of me.

Tait Burns is more than a progressive contemporary artist; he is a vibrant, passionate soul intimately connected to the rich tapestry of human emotion. As a trained and accredited psychotherapist, he infuses his very essence into each creation, weaving together the intricate strands of his insights with the love and care that only an empathetic heart can provide. Each brushstroke and every vivid hue echoes his deep exploration of dialectics, capturing the tumultuous complexity of human experience in ways that stir the very core of our beings and ignite the flames of understanding deep within our spirits. Now for the backstory! What now feels like a lifetime ago—over ten years, to be precise—I stood proudly at the threshold of my future, having graduated from Salford University with my bachelor's degree in art. Yet, to truly understand the essence of my journey, I must peel back the layers of time and revisit my childhood. At the tender age of seven, creativity flowed through me like an untamed river; I was constantly dreaming up ways to express myself through drawing and painting. Even then, I had my own unique style, a spark of individuality igniting my young imagination. Why? Because I viewed the world around me as an intricate tapestry—a concrete jungle bursting with color and possibility—and being creative felt not only instinctive but vital to my very existence.I’ve never been fond of definitions or confines; I believe we are all perpetually evolving, expanding like the universe itself. If you were to ask the younger me about my creative process, I would have been at a loss for words, adrift in the depths of my own potential. Yet today, I possess a deeper understanding of the intricate pathways of my artistry. The art I create is fueled by a profound desire to invite others to pause, if only for a fleeting moment, and truly contemplate what they are witnessing. It is my hope that through my work, I can inspire contemplation, ignite curiosity, and spark a connection that transcends the ordinary.

My art journey began in urban settings, where I drew inspiration from the diverse and ever-changing environment. I view the world as a constant clash of ideologies and cultures, finding beauty in this chaos.
Juxtaposition is a key element in my art, where I use contrasting images and colours to represent the constant struggle between opposing forces. I also incorporate surrealism and abstract art and pop to push boundaries and create thought-provoking pieces.
